Our farm is located in the furthest Southwestern corner of Japan - far away from the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster. Even so, for peace of mind, radiation testing for Cesium-134, Cesium-137 and Iodine-131 is performed regularly to ensure none is ever detected in your Organic Burst Matcha.

No Health-Damaging Pesticides
Unlike other famous tea regions in Japan that have pesticide sprayed non-organic tea growing right next to the “organic” ones - our farm is surrounded only by other organic farmlands as well as miles of dense green forests. This shields us from harmful cross-contamination of pesticides that independent studies have now linked to serious health problems.

Because the taste of Organic Burst Matcha is so creamy and not bitter at all - it’s easy to enjoy it simply with water and appreciate the fresh taste. Preparing matcha is an amazing practice of mindfulness that can help relax and reset you, therefore is a joy to be performed several times a day. Have it hot: 1/2-1 teaspoon whisked in 1/2 cup of hot (but not boiling) water; or cold in a shaker or a mason jar.
