When Should I Take These Superfoods For Weight Loss?

Matcha

🍵 Matcha contains many powerful polyphenol compounds, including catechins that have been found to boost weight loss. A study from 2009 published in the Journal of Obesity found 2x cups of catechin rich green tea per day led to decreases in abdominal fat, waist circumference, total body fat, and body weight.

It’s perfect to have Matcha between meals/after eating particularly because it reduces the sugar in the blood after eating (Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, 2019), this stops surges of insulin that encourage fat deposits and cravings for sweet food.

💎 Our genuine Ceremonial Grade Matcha comes from the top 4 leaves🍃🍃 of the plant, picked during the 1st harvest of the year🌸 for more powerful benefits.

Spirulina

💙 A Spirulina study from 2016 found that patients who took just 2g (less than 1tsp) showed significant reductions in weight and BMI (body mass index).

Have it when you feel like snacking to curb cravings or 30 minutes before meals to prevent overeating.

Our pure Spirulina contains 70% complete protein that is quickly absorbed, as well as iron, and an array of B Vitamins - all of which help you feel satiated, and curb cravings for unhealthy food.

Wheatgrass

🌱 Wheatgrass is a rich source of chlorophyll, that has been shown in studies to significantly help promote weight loss, and combat cravings, particularly for sweet foods! Woohoo!🎉.

Our Wheatgrass is a fine blend of the whole leaves (not juiced wheatgrass), so it’s also an excellent source of fibre.

Take first thing in the morning to help with bloating, and before meals to reduce hunger pangs and keep you from overeating.

Cinnamon

🍶 A layer of fat around the abdomen can be caused by high levels of insulin – the hormone that deals with sugar in the blood. A 2009 study published in the journal “Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism”, found that Cinnamon reduced sugar levels in the blood after eating, so having with meals means we need less insulin ✊.

Have 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of our True Cinnamon with meals - sprinkle it on your granola, yogurts, mix it into oatmeal, curries or soups or have it as our pure capsules.

Ours is the heirloom cultivar variety, known as Zeylanicum or True Cinnamon, from Sri Lanka. It is not Cassia, which is commonly sold as Cinnamon, but is much cheaper and lower quality.
